Wheatfest Returns This Weekend

The town of Wheatland is set to come alive this weekend for Wheatfest 2018.

The two-day, town-wide event will kick off Friday night at 4:30 with a chicken and noodle dinner and run through Saturday evening, being capped off by a concert by Rodney Watts in the Park Shelter. Activities on tap include a a car and tractor show, live music, barrel rides, inflatables, Museum tours, as well as a number of food options .

All children’s activities are free all weekend long. Below is a full list of Wheatfest activities:




Friday, July 13th

Chicken Noodle Dinner (Wheatland Methodist Church) 4:30-6:30 pm

“Memory Lane” (Niblack Lions Club Park Shelter) 7-10 pm

Wheatland Lions Club Concessions/Homemade Ice Cream, Fri pm

Saturday, July 14th

Biscuits & Gravy Breakfast (Small Town Crossing) 7-10 am
