Gimbel Clean Up Forces Daytime Street Closure

A section of 2nd Street in Vincennes will closed during daytime hours–as the clean-up of Gimbel Corner continues.

Mayor Joe Yochum says Second Street–between Main and Busseron–will be closed during daylight hours–until crews finish clearing debris on the property.

The Gimbel Corner building was destroyed last December by a weekend fire.

Yochum says he expects the property to be topped off with fill-dirt —within a couple of weeks.
