Soles for Education 5K & 10K Walk/Run Results

THANK YOU TO ALL WHO PARTICIPATED IN OUR FIRST  ANNUAL EVENT!

RESULTS CAN BE FOUND HERE!!!

104 runners & walkers took part Saturday April, 21, 2012 in Vincennes University’s Business and Public Service Division and the VU Alumni Association First Annual “Soles for Education” 5K & 10K Walk/Run event.   

Both races featured a flat course highlighting Vincennes’ rich historic background from the Vincennes University campus, to Indiana’s First Main Street, and through the George Rogers Clark National Historical Park.

Proceeds from the race will go towards scholarships for VU students majoring in programs within the Business & Public Service Division.  Such programs include Electronic Media, Business & Management, Information Technology and Law & Safety and Homeland Security programs.  More information about the BPS Division programs can be found HERE.

Music and entertainment for participants and families were provided by the Blazer WVUB at the start/finish line area located behind the Wathen Business Building on the VU campus.
