The Annual Knox County Relay for Life is set to take place tomorrow.
The event serves as the biggest fund-raiser for the American Cancer Society. Last year, 540,000 Hoosiers received some type of help from the American Cancer Society.
This year’s annual relay event will be held on Saturday May 20th from 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m at Vincennes Lincoln High School. Relay Spokesman Duane Chattin says you don’t have to be part of a team to come out on Saturday and take part in the activities.
Chattin says Relay teams will also have food for sale as part of their fund-raising effort. A live auction will also be held following the opening ceremony at 11:00 am.
This year’s fund-raising goal is $60,000.
