Council to Hear More About Downtown WiFi

Posted on February 12th, 2018

The Vincennes City Council will continue to take in information about downtown WiFi.

At their meeting Monday night, the Council is scheduled to hear from Tim Trotter with the AME Group. This comes after they heard from Brett Dawson from DawsForce Technologies at their meeting last month.

Councilman Tim Salters brought the idea of downtown WiFi to the table in early January. The council is certainly open to the idea to providing much of downtown with a wireless connection, but have expressed a desire to hear from experts in the field about how impactful that service could be for the citizens of Vincennes.
