Earlier this week, Indiana State Police and the National Guard took to the skies to search out drug operations.
Troopers from Bloomington that are part of the Marijuana Eradication Team teamed up with members of the Indiana National Guard Counter Drug Taskforce to conduct routine spotting from National Guard helicopters. During that search, a pair of outdoor growing operations were found in Green County.
Before ground units could arrive, residents began to leave the homes. They were, however, stopped by authorities before they could do so. The marijuana was secured and transported as evidence.
At this time, no arrested have been made, although three separate investigations are underway and have been turned over to the Green County Prosecutor.
